“After having a particularly bad experience with a kitchen years ago, I chose my kitchen company very carefully this time! I had seen a Roundel Design kitchen at a friend’s house, so I knew I liked their work, however, I did see 3 other companies to be sure that I got the whole picture.
I had pretty definite ideas about what I wanted and how much I was prepared to spend, so was rather disappointed when the other companies tried to make me do what they wanted. Simon was different though, and actually listened to what I was saying. He did give me suggestions, but they were worked around my needs. Roundel Design worked around my appliances and made several bespoke touches to suit the design I had chosen. I have to say that the most surprising thing, and in my opinion the best bit, was the installation. It was perfect. The fitter was very experienced, polite, an utter perfectionist. He came, he fitted, he left - a clean sweep. The granite surfaces arrived on time and were fitted like clockwork.
Furthermore, their after sales service was tremendous, unlike most other companies when once it’s in they are nowhere to be seen. I had a problem with a cabinet door and it was fixed immediately, no quibble, no fuss. I have recommended Roundel Design with confidence to my friends – when you find a company that are so great to deal with, you just want to tell everyone!"

“When we decided to get a new kitchen for our tiny 200 year old farmers cottage, we looked in the local magazines first. We saw an advertisement for Roundel Design with a picture of exactly the style of country kitchen we liked. The quality of the natural wood and granite was superb and very good value for money.
One of our main aims was to maximize space and Roundel Design achieved this, but they were also flexible and willing to change the design a little for us.
As we are based in Yorkshire, we left it to them to handle all the suppliers and tradesmen, find matching fabrics and generally deal with any and all problems. We were therefore very impressed that they kept to the set deadlines.

“Originally the kitchen used to be an outbuilding, so we started from scratch. New floor, new ceiling, and as it is a listed building, we needed to take that into consideration too. Roundel Design had been recommended to me by a friend, and after meeting them I knew that I wanted them to do the work.
It was a very big job and took 14 weeks to complete. I handed over the entire project to Roundel Design. They got in all the tradesmen for the building, plumbing, plastering, and managed everything – which saved my husband from interfering!
For the duration we all lived in the cellar with running water, a fridge and a microwave. On the final day everything was cleaned down and a lady came to beautifully hand paint the cupboards.
